Job Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a client base in a specified territory and overseeing all sales activities within the territory, ensuring timely follow-up on leads and daily/weekly reporting of sales activities, schedules, and contracts.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads, propose sales contracts, negotiate sales agreements, and deliver signed contracts to operations.
- Develop business strategies with municipal wastewater management and consulting engineering customers.
- Join and participate in local industry associations and give technical presentations at conferences.
- Work closely with Operations to determine project requirements and assist in contract interpretation and client interface.
Requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Travel is essential.
- Education: B.S. Civil Engineering or equivalent engineering degree preferred.
