The Senior Manager, Sales Enablement is responsible for managing and leading the Sales Enablement technologies supporting the organization's goals and business objectives. This role bridges the gap between technology and its users by driving adoption, training, and optimizing CRM and related sales enablement tools. The individual will focus on the execution and leadership of the Sales Enablement Roadmap with a strong focus on system implementation, user training, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing sales enablement programs, training users on CRM software to enhance proficiency and adoption and managing reporting systems to deliver actionable insights through BI tools and KPI tracking. This role also requires overseeing projects that enhance the functionality and impact of sales enablement technologies. The Senior Manager will collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration of processes, foster user engagement, and maximize the effectiveness of sales enablement technologies. Strong communication, leadership, and project management are critical to success in this highly visible and strategic role.

Responsibilities :

  • Leads commercial operations core business processes for assigned area
  • Develops strategies and recommendations for improving processes, efficiency and practices
  • Identifies and prioritizes service improvement opportunities and creates plans for implementation
  • May focus on areas such as sales systems, sales incentives, territory alignment, patient engagement, data management, etc.

Leadership and Management

  • Lead and execute the Sales Enablement strategy and technology roadmap in collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Serve as an administrator and manager of the CRM platform, ensuring system is configured, maintained, and optimized to support sales processes.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle of Sales Enablement initiatives, including requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, implementation, and reporting.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as Data Strategy, IT, Sales, and Marketing to align on goals and successfully launch and scale new capabilities.
  • Research emerging technologies and propose solutions to enhance the platform and optimize user experiences.
  • Collaborate with Business Operations to manage and maintain Sales Roster, ensuring accurate tracking of personnel changes and alignment with sales enablement tools.
  • Support commercial data management function by collaborating with Data Strategy and contributing to the development of data management capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data requirements
  • Serve as a key communicator and advocate for Sales Enablement progress and outcomes, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
  • End User Journey, Reports & Dashboards

  • Collaborate with sales leaders to design, map, and implement an optimized end-user journey that drives multi-channel sales efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop robust reporting and dashboard solutions, translating customer data into actionable insights and defining KPIs to track program effectiveness, customer migration, and loyalty.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy, availability, and integrity, while partnering with development teams and external vendors to address analytics and campaign management needs.
  • Quantify and communicate the impact of Sales Enablement programs through consistent reporting to key stakeholders and senior leadership, identifying areas for improvement to maximize effectiveness.
  • Sales Alignment and Territory Management

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure the CRM system and enablement tools effectively support sales processes, territory management, and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Lead the integration and optimization of CRM technologies to facilitate efficient territory mapping, resource allocation, and alignment with sales goals and strategic business objectives.
  • Work closely with Sales and Commercial Training teams to provide training and ensure adoption of tools, fostering alignment between sales objectives and enablement strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to drive alignment and improve overall sales effectiveness.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in business / marketing or science discipline; MBA a plus
  • 7 years' relevant commercial operations experience
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving complex issues
  • Knowledge of relevant legal, compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Salesforce / Veeva required
  • Understands the basic principles of data management and data governance
  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources such as IQVIA OneKey
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet challenging deadlines
