Responsibilities:
- Audit warranty claims for accuracy and completeness
- Monitor warranty claim status with vendors and take proactive action as needed
- Apply vendor credits to internal and customer accounts
- Develop and maintain warranty reports under direction of the warranty manager
Primary Duties:
- Receive and process copies of the closed warranty repair orders
- Enter warranty claims into vendor systems
- Communicate with branch personnel related to submitted warranty claims
- Communicate with vendor warranty departments as needed
- Communicate and coordinate with supervisor on warranty rejections and processing issues
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in office related field or comparable work experience
- Three-five years related experience; data entry and accounting experience preferred
- Computer skills with an emphasis on word processing and spreadsheet programs
- Understanding of double entry accounting principles
- Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and results driven
- Ability to prioritize and handle numerous tasks simultaneously
- Effective written and oral communication skills
