Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The Associate Manager, Warehouse Operations is responsible for the preparation and return of company assets and tasks surrounding events produced by Wasserman Live. This role will pull gear from the shelf, record it in our inventory software, load it onto a truck, and complete the process in reverse upon the return of the event. The Associate Manager will be expected to maintain the highest degree of accuracy throughout the warehouse prep/return process and will frequently be required to guide other employees through the process.
This role requires an adept problem-solver that can work diligently and on task. Please note, due to the nature of event delivery, there may be occasional need to work overtime hours to accommodate the delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
- AV gear prep, return, and inspection with basic AV gear repair when needed
- Record inventory in Flex Rental Solutions software, ensuring accuracy when assets are removed and returned to warehouse
- Load trucks for events and unload trucks and process asset returns upon event completion
- Collaborate with team members from all departments on assets needed for events
- Manage and maintain warehouse workspace and conduct routine inventory counts
- Delegate tasks to appropriate team members and provide crew guidance as needed
- Complete work with basic hand and power tools
- Complete pickups and deliveries as assigned
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year concert/corporate/misc. AV Production experience
- AV Production equipment and AV truck packing knowledge
- Ability to lead small- to medium-sized crews, displaying advanced delegation and task leadership
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy with ability to memorize contents through repetition
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to drive company vehicles – up to 26’ box truck or 32’ gooseneck and truck
- Must be able to lift 65 pounds, and team lift heavier items
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work outdoors
- Forklift certified or able to obtain forklift certification (training will be provided)
- Highly adaptable and agile in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Flex Rental Solutions inventory management knowledge preferred
- Experience with shipping & receiving preferred
