Job Description
Wasserman Marketing is seeking a highly motivated and strategic professional to join one of our Brands Retainer Client teams. This role focuses on developing and managing business relationships, brand sponsorships, and partnerships – particularly with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), culture-focused properties, and talent collaborations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support team members in client servicing, partnership management, relationship development, project coordination, and internal agency resource coordination to ensure successful activation across HBCU and broader culture partnerships.
- Manage client and partner relationships to maximize the impact of partnerships, contract negotiations, program integration and execution
- Manage day-to-day contractual elements of relationships with properties while effectively managing expectations for all parties involved
- Track, analyze, and report on partnership budgets, activations and KPIs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including insights and analytics and creative teams) to validate partnerships and drive strategic alignment across agency partners
- Oversee relationships with external agencies to ensure smooth program activation
- Cultivate relationships with client teams and internal business units to identify new business opportunities
- Stay informed about competitive landscapes and industry trends to inform client investments
- Develop strategic plans for clients, identifying the best opportunities for success
- Manage partner communications, resolve conflicts, and ensure deliverable compliance
- Coordinate activation execution communications between internal teams, brand partners, and external partners
- Utilize Wasserman's capabilities to identify opportunities for presenting new capabilities to clients
- Support new client pitches and respond to requests for proposals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years of direct experience in account and project management
- Strong knowledge of project management best practices related to partnership development, non-traditional sponsorships, activation planning, creative materials development, content and social programming, and other account deliverables
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel for deck development and budget management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to different situations and personalities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven account management skills to establish, maintain, and enhance customer relationships
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Creative thinking ability when planning, considering program needs, and budget parameters
- Contract negotiation skills, valuation experience, and familiarity with contractual language in sponsorship arrangements and talent partnerships
Base salary range: $73k plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role.
