We’re seeking an Inventory Manager to spearhead the task of inventory control and quality assurance. Being a master of all trades, the candidate will be responsible for inventory control tasks that range from receiving, handling, storing, shipping, packaging and transporting products. The ideal inventory manager candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of inventory management techniques in order to monitor stock correctly and order supplies on schedule.
Objectives of this role:
- Plan and execute an inventory tracking system for supply chain inventories
- Liaise with different suppliers and do a cost analysis to get the best prices and rates
- Document the inventory movements and report them to the upper management
- Make sure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, keeping in mind quality and inventory control
- Recruit, train and manage a team of warehouse staff and ensure and audit the inventory control of the tasks that they perform
- Maintain safety in the warehouse, by adhering to the company safety policies and national regulations according to the legal standards
Some of their primary tasks will include:
- Monitor the daily warehouse activities and ensure that quality assurance standards are always maintained
- Keep track of daily shipments and deliveries
- Build and foster healthy and long-lasting relationships with the suppliers within the scope of the inventory manager role
- Identify shortages and bottlenecks in the inventory control tasks and resolve the same through continuous improvisations
Inventory Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees team of inventory or warehouse employees.
- Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels.
- Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
- Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
- Manages schedules of employees, deliveries and shipments to optimize operations.
- Communicates with inventory employees to meet business goals and address personnel issues.
- Develops business relationships with suppliers and clients.
- Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
- Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
- Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management.
- Manages the recruitment and training of new inventory employees.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

- Product and inventory management certification a plus

Pay: $16.55 - $18.19 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
