Architectural Delivery Group Leader
Job Description
The primary responsibilities of the Architectural Delivery Group Leader shall be high-level decision-making for Vertical programs and projects, business development, operational efficiency, contribution to CSRS strategic planning, collaboration with clients to understand their vision and requirements, innovation in project delivery, and development of staff. This role shall realize the art and science of architecture and influence the development of sustainable, functional, and visually appealing structures for CSRS clients and the communities we serve. Whether CSRS is in the role of project manager or architect, the Architectural Delivery Group Leader will drive our project leaders to achieve excellence in design and construction and reflect the firm’s commitment to quality and innovation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Establishes and builds a strong connection/relationship with clients
- Aligns with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to establish and track Vertical PM operations KPI and monitor Vertical PM financial performance
- Aligns with the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for staffing and to resolve personnel performance challenges, participate in onboarding and offboarding
- Aligns with the Chief Business Development Officer (CBO) to establish and track BD KPI, capture planning and client management
- Provides oversight of Vertical project directors and senior project managers
- Trains, mentors and motivates staff
- Promotes and maintains positive morale amongst internal team members
- Regular documentation of Vertical staff performance and challenges
- Administers design with full understanding & acknowledgement of zoning ordinances, building codes and accessibility codes
- Contributes to strengthening relationships with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and utility service providers
- Travels periodically to various remote offices in support of Vertical project teams
- Oversees production of construction documents and stamp & seal construction documents
- Enforce quality assurance and quality control
- Ensure project teams deliver projects in alignment with client’s professional and technical standards
- Establishes deadlines and complete projects in a timely manner and within the client’s budget
- Possesses an ability to self-manage, as well as participate, in a highly collaborative team environment
- Generates and coordinates project proposals with consultants and clients
- Coordination with the CSRS Proposals Team for proposal writing and capture planning
- Monitors and manages financial health of projects and provide periodic reports to internal leadership
- Responsible for training and implementing team initiatives
- Develops strategic plans based on forecasted growth potential
- Responsible for keeping all professional licenses and certifications current
- Participation in social and professional organizations related to architecture and project delivery
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Five-Year bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in architecture from a NAAB Accredited University
Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience working as an architect in related field; experience in project due diligence, programming, construction document production, permit acquisition, bidding & negotiations, construction administration, and project closeout. Disaster recovery experience a plus.
