What are the responsibilities and job description for the Autocad Drafter position at CSSI?
CSSI, is a leading provider of transportation and mobility solution to government and commercial clients. We are currently seeking a Drafter/CAD Operator for an opportunity out of our North Charleston, SC location. The Drafter/CAD Operator will be responsible for drafting complete and accurate drawings as required. The drafter/CAD operator fills in technical details using drawings, rough sketches, specifications, and calculations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience with electrical or electronic drafting
- Experience with computerized drafting applications (AutoCAD), SolidWorks, Inventor, Adobe), digital imaging techniques, and planning and preparing graphic presentations of complex items
- Ability to obtain a security clearance - active Security clearance is preferred
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Department of Defense (DOD) or technical illustration specific to US Navy applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of DOD or US Navy drafting and digital imaging standards, processes, procedures, and engineering terminology.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED - AA preferred
