The Department’s faculty support the Warner College of Natural Resources and the University in fulfilling the Land Grant Mission in these programmatic areas. The Department offers undergraduate majors in Forestry, Rangeland Ecology, and Natural Resources Management in addition to Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.

The Forest and Rangeland Stewardship is accepting applications from individuals who are interested in securing temporary instructor positions within the FRS Department. Instructors may teach in person or online courses in areas of their expertise and are hired periodically for fall, spring, and/or summer term, contingent upon enrollment. Detailed descriptions of the department and its faculty, programs, and courses are available on the webpage: https://warnercnr.colostate.edu/frs/.

- Master’s degree in relevant field or a combination bachelor’s degree, certification in a field directly related to teaching assignments
- Teaching experience in a course related to Ecology and/or Natural Resource Management
- Expertise, experience, and knowledge of the course content
- Professional Experience in a field related to Natural Resource Management
- Evidence of commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching, research, and practice
