The School of Education seeks applications between July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025, from individuals who are interested in securing temporary instructor positions within the Counseling and Career Development program for the 2024 – 2025 academic year.
Instructors teach face-to-face graduate-level courses in areas of their expertise and are hired periodically for fall, spring, and/or summer term, contingent upon enrollments and need. Successful candidates may also be asked to provide clinical supervision and coordination of students’ practicum and/or internship experiences. Reappointment may depend upon performance and the availability of funding.

- Earned masters degree in counseling or counselor education
- Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado, Licensed Professional Counselor Eligible in Colorado, and/or Colorado Educator License – Professional School Counselor Endorsement
- Evidence of excellence in teaching and/or clinical supervision in the areas of Counseling and Career Development curriculum
- Earned doctorate degree from a CACREP accredited program
- Experience teaching graduate students via face-to-face and distance technologies
- Training and experience in counseling with diverse populations
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching, research, and practice
- Evidence of or potential for scholarship and publication commensurate with a research university
