We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Estimate projects
- Buyout project and issue subcontract agreements
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Monitor project progress, company labor, subcontractors, suppliers, safety, and required owner reports.
- Approve subcontractor’s/supplier’s pay applications
- Issue pay applications to Owner
- Code incoming project invoices
- Assist superintendent with constructability reviews
- Control tracking of all documentation (logs) with use of software
- Issue Request for Information (RFI) to Architects
- Distribute replies to responsible parties
- Control submittal logs and keep architect updated on status of outstanding items
- Prepare Closing Documents
- Assist Superintendent in completing preliminary punch lists
- Handle warranty work as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction or similar, and minimum of 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Extensive experience in construction engineering principles and techniques
- Comprehensive knowledge of building construction materials, systems, market conditions, trade practices
- Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
- Knowledge of accounting principles and cost control procedures
- Knowledge of estimating, construction costs, scheduling, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques, various building systems
- Project management of competing demands, and meet established deadlines
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience managing staff, able to provide direction, delegation, and performance feedback
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office suite of applications, and Microsoft Project.
