Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the Clinisys LIMS System and its associated hardware components. The selected candidate will manage desk requests and resolve system-related issues to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
The LIMS Systems Administrator will work with the team to manage and optimize the Clinisys Laboratory Information Management System (Clinisys LIMS) for the Department of Forensic Sciences (DFS). This position will be a technical expert for the LIMS platform, overseeing system configuration, customization, and ongoing support and maintenance.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Clinisys LIMS and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of laboratory workflows and software development fundamentals. Key responsibilities include collaborating with laboratory staff, IT teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure the system aligns with organizational requirements while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards.
This role bridges the gap between laboratory operations and information technology, requiring technical expertise and the ability to translate user needs into practical solutions.
Qualifications & Expertise :
Experience with administering Clinisys LIMS
Experience working in a Helpdesk supporting end-users in an enterprise environment
Experience with troubleshooting software, network and hardware
Experience supporting and maintaining both desktop and web applications
Communication skills, both written and spoken, business-level English mandatory
Strong documentation skills
