**Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Opportunity**

- We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant with experience in cardiovascular/thoracic surgery to join our team on a locum tenens basis.
- Responsibilities include:
- Assisting surgeons in the operating room and rounding in the intensive care unit (ICU) and step-down unit
- Providing patient care and management in the CVICU, CTICU, CCU, and step-down unit
- Performing procedures such as endoscopic vein harvesting, thoracentesis, central line placement, arterial line placement, and chest tube insertion
- Developing and implementing patient care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
**Requirements:**
- 2 years of experience in cardiothoracic/cardiovascular surgery/CVICU or equivalent case volume
- Certification by The Joint Commission
- Ability to work 50 hours per week with call every 3rd weekend and night
- Proficiency in EVH System – Maquet and skills in CABG, TAVR, AAA, AVR, MVR
