Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented cleaning Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. The Custodian will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including commercial and industrial cleaning, floor care, and general maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness through dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall building upkeep.
• Handle custodial equipment and supplies safely and responsibly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met consistently.

Skills

• Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
• Familiarity with floor care practices, including buffing and waxing.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
• Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance is a plus.
