What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visitation Supervisor and Parent Educator position at CT Family Support Services?
I am reposting this position. I was unable to hire at the end of last year as originally planned.
Provide transportation and supervise visits between children and their Biological Parents at various locations in Eastern and/or Northeastern, CT.
Provide Parent Education and assistance to Biological Parents during visits.
Generate Visitation Report for each Supervised Visitation. I laptop is helpful so they can be written during the visit.
Help Parents develop Parenting goals.
After school hours and weekends are in greatest need at this time.
The following are REQUIRED:
1st Aid and CPR Certification
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work OR related field or 7 years experience working with children and/or children and families
Vehicle, CT Driver's License and insurance
Hourly pay rate will be based on experience in the field, some cases have mileage pay available in addition to the hourly rate
If hired the following will need to be completed:
Mandated Reporter Training
CPS Background Check
DESPP Background Check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
Schedule:
- After school
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
