What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerial and Acro Dance Instructor position at CT Performing Arts Center?
CT Performing Arts Center is hiring an Aerial and Acrobatics Instructor. Our mission is to instill and nurture a lifetime of passion, love, and appreciation for the arts within every child.
The right person will be energetic, enthusiastic, and have a passion for working with children and youth from ages 3-adult. MUST be available on Mondays and Thursdays evenings from 4:30-8:30 pm - Saturdays are also possible if desired.
Job Requirements:
- Must have experience, training and teaching silks, sling/hammock, lyra
- Experience teaching Gymnastics/Tumbling to children at least ages 3 yrs and up.
- Background in dance, cheer, gymnastics, tumbling, etc.
- Love being around children
- Have a friendly and positive attitude
- Is motivated and able to sustain a high level of energy for an extended period of time.
Pay depends on experience - $30-$50/hr.
