**Join Our Team as a Delivery Driver at CT South Corp (FedEx Ground Contractor)**
CT South Corp is seeking motivated and dependable Delivery Drivers to become vital members of our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of packages to our valued customers.
**No CDL License Required** Box truck experience or similar experience is preferred.
**Responsibilities:**
- Operate a company-provided delivery vehicle safely to deliver packages to designated locations.
- Load and unload packages efficiently.
- Strategically plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries, strictly adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Verify package accuracy and ensure proper documentation for each delivery.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by being polite, professional, and accommodating during all interactions.
- Work closely with the dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and promptly communicate any delays or issues.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Immediately report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or traffic violations to your supervisor.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to delivery operations and safety protocols without exception.
- Represent our organization positively at all times, upholding a professional image.
**Qualifications:**
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Successfully clear a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and DOT physical (cost covered by FedEx).
- Previous courier service experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Capable of lifting packages weighing up to 150 lbs, along with bending, lifting, and maneuvering in and out of the delivery truck to reach the delivery point.
**Benefits:**
- Receive weekly pay.
- Your first ride-along pays $100 upon commitment to the job; training is compensated at $125 per day.
- Your earnings start at $140, with the potential to make between $200 and $225 per day based on your route and packages delivered.
- Earn a threshold stop bonus of $1.00 per stop after reaching the designated threshold.
- A $400 signing bonus will be paid after 6 weeks of work and is untaxed.
