Position Summary :
The Test Proctor provides direct support for students who utilize the Testing Center. The Test Proctor’s main function is to supervise students during testing, maintain test integrity and an environment conducive to testing.
Example of Job Duties :
Under the direction of the Placement Testing Specialist, the Test Proctor is responsible for effective performance in these essential duties :
- Prepare computer labs for testing which includes sanitizing workstations, furnishing labs with stationery and ensuring computers and testing software are working properly before testing.
- Checking in students with their college or Government issued identification.
- Maintain a distraction-free testing environment.
- Provide information about testing policies and procedures to students.
- Supervise students during testing to maintain test integrity.

Minimum Qualifications :
Associate's degree in a related field with relevant work experience.
Candidates must possess proven ability to effectively work with culturally, linguistically, and ethnically diverse faculty, staff, and students. They are expected to have excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills along with strong Information technology literacy skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.).
Salary : 34.06 hourly.
