What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afterschool Autism Aide- Part Time position at CTA Community Supports?
We are immediately hiring Part-Time Afterschool Autism Aides for our afterschool program located in Sandy. Get paid to help children, teenagers, and adults with Autism and other developmental disabilities lead happy fulfilling lives! We are hiring for schedules that involve afternoon/evening shifts every week.
- The rotating weekly schedule has weekday hours (Monday to Thursday) between 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm and 11:30 am to 7pm on Fridays.
- You must be willing and able to drive a company minivan (19 years or older, clean driving record, Utah Driver’s License, 2 years driving experience).
As an Afterschool Autism Aide, you will have the opportunity to help our children, teenager, and adult clients in a fun and engaging way. We do a lot of fun activities with the people we support. Check out our social media feed to see our clients in action!
We do help our clients with personal hygiene. We provide you with all the training you need to perform this job, and no previous experience necessary.

Requirements:
- Must be 19 years or older
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills (Slack, Note Taking, Smart Phone Usage)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds from the floor
- Be outgoing, friendly, and have a positive attitude
- A desire to help individuals with Autism and special needs
- Can multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
- Driving requirements as listed above
