What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Program Coordinator position at CTA Community Supports?
CTA Community Supports is seeking a Residential Program Coordinator. This position will oversee the operations of 3-4 residential group homes, supporting individuals with Autism and other mental health needs. This is a supervisor role taking care of up to 16 people we support and with a responsibility of up to 30 employees.
Experience in supporting people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, other developmental disabilities and mental health needs is critical.
This is a leadership role within a team that has 100 years of collective experience at CTA Community Supports. Your team cares deeply about the people we support on a level that is unmatched. You will have leadership guidance and support from our Director of Residential Services and Vice President of our company.
This position’s responsibilities include helping oversee medical care for the people we support, responding to medical emergencies, scheduling shifts, teaching classes, ensuring billing for funding, and being a resource to your team. You will directly supervise three to four residential home managers. This position represents CTA Community Supports in professional interactions with behavior support teams, support coordinators, parents, and members of the community.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in the field of supporting people with Autism, developmental disabilities and/or mental health needs.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field is strongly preferred.
- Supervisory experience
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and deal with challenging situations
- Ability to be on call 24/7 for any emergency that arises
- Excellent Organizational Skills, Time Management, and Attention to Detail
- A strong working knowledge of policy and procedures for the Division of Services for People with Disabilities as well as the Division of Child and Family Services
