Duties
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of samples for testing, ensuring adherence to laboratory procedures.
- Conduct quality control checks on laboratory equipment and materials to maintain accuracy and reliability.
- Perform histological preparations, including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining.
- Support molecular biology experiments by preparing reagents and maintaining accurate records of experiments.
- Analyze data from experiments and assist in interpreting results for research projects.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment to comply with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members on various research development projects, contributing insights based on findings.
- Stay updated on advancements in animal physiology and related fields to enhance laboratory practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory or research setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures, including histology and molecular biology techniques.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate data analysis and interpretation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality results.
- A background in scientific research or related fields is advantageous.
