In this role, safety is a top priority. The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines related to transportation, including the use of personal protective equipment while working outside and visiting manufacturing departments. The employee will also be required to wear suitable PPE while performing duties outside as needed for the role.
The position may require limited local travel and occasional exposure to moderate to loud noise, greasy/dirty areas, high heat in the summer or cold in the winter. However, the majority of the work will be performed in an office setting with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
The successful candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and compliance, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
