POSITION SUMMARY :
The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) position has oversight over an assigned business vertical as well as independent responsibility to support specific client groups. The position serves as a consultant to senior management on human resource-related issues and the role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
HR Management (30%)
- Identify and analyze HR metrics to ensure the effectiveness of HR programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Lead HR projects ensuring successful delivery within timelines and budget.
- Create processes and procedures for continuous improvement of the HR department.
- Liaison with labor law and corporate attorneys to make high level decisions involving employee relational concerns.
- Oversee and management vendor relationships and is the vendor owner for all areas of influence.
- Anticipate market changes in employment with regards to labor laws, compliance.
- Anticipate, oversee, and participate in annual government reporting and audits.
- Develop and manage the Bank’s employee handbook and ensure that company-wide practices align with company culture.
Employee Relations (30%)
Manage Employee leave procedure and process.Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewingConduct second-level investigations into employee complaints and policy violations.Leadership & Training (10%)
Provide coaching to managers and employees to build leadership capabilities and address employee issuesStrong leadership skills to lead and develop a team of HR professionals.Create data-driven training to address the needs of the Bank.Serves as the subject matter expert in all areas of HR; trains and supports various aspects of the HR functions.Strategic Partnership (15%)
Serve as a strategic partner to team leaders on organization design and integration; assess and anticipate human capital needs to align with business strategies.Provide advice and counsel to management and staff on a variety of human resource programs and initiatives.Develop and implement talent and succession planning programs.Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge of HR trends and best practices in alignment with business goals.Performance Management (15%)
Provide solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.Partner with hiring managers to set appropriate goals for employees; provide guidance on performance evaluation, promotion, demotion, and other HR administration.Develop and implement performance management programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives.Education, Experience and Skills Required :
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred in an HR discipline or related field.Minimum 10 years of HR experience; Banking industry is highly preferred.Must possess business acumen, superior interpersonal skills and a strong professional presence with an ability to build credibility with business leaders to prioritize key tasks and quick wins for success.Excellent client service skills and the capacity to facilitate the needs of multiple business units.A curious mindset, to think innovatively and rationally about concerns and come up with creative solutions.Experience in the core disciplines of HR including recruitment (executive search), compensation, learning, organizational development and in using data and analytics to identify important HR related trends. Working knowledge of employment law, HR practices and staffing industry trends.Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to move on desired outcomes within established timeframes. Experience leading and thriving in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.High level of integrity in maintaining sensitive and confidential information.Demonstrates a confident and professional executive presence.Ensure all HR information is handled with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.Ability to inspire others to action through demonstrated strong communication (verbal and written), presentation, relationship-building and social skills.Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.Executive presence including candor and clarity in conveying messages.Working knowledge of employment and labor law.Ability to anticipate the needs of the business and work proactively to provide necessary HR solutions.Exceptional intuition, sensitivity ("good radar") and listening skills.Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or related certification is preferredPHYSICAL DEMANDS :

The base pay range for this position is USD $115,000.00 / Yr. - USD $140,000.00 / Yr plus full benefits. Exact offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
