What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at CTC?
The Graphic Designer drafts, develops and executes the design of consistent marketing materials, promotions and business-related materials that are consistent with the CTC brand and drives company sales. Coordination of special projects and other tasks.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Expert knowledge of graphic design through the incorporation of marketing practices and principles.
· Creative skill in design of advertising material.
· Excellent in written communication.
· Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, media, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
· Proficient understanding of typography design and trends.
· Excellent working knowledge of Adobe In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop.
· Preferred knowledge of Adobe After Effects, but not necessary.
· Preferred experience in web design and familiarity with WordPress, but not necessary.
· Knowledge of telecommunications technology, products and services, preferred.
· Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments and work under tight deadlines.
· Ability to pay close attention to detail.
· Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand.
· Ability to create a team environment and sustain employee morale.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Graphic Design, or equivalent experience. Two years of professional design-based experience preferred. Experience with Social Media preferred. Applicants must have a portfolio containing print and digital work samples.
