Job Title: Project Manager 2
Job Summary: Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing the project activities of assigned projects. Provide direction to project teams and/or group leaders to achieve project-related activities. Monitor project performance against budget and schedule, identify deviations from the project plan, and implement corrective actions. Establish and maintain liaison with the customer throughout the project to resolve problems and coordinate service functions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage project activities.
- Provide direction to project teams and/or group leaders.
- Monitor project performance against budget and schedule.
- Identify deviations from the project plan and implement corrective actions.
- Provide project and/or group personnel administration.
- Assign personnel for key project positions and approve the appointment of others.
- Provide input to and approval of project budgets and schedules.
- Participate in division policy planning and development.
- Resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.
- Contribute to the development of the organization's goals and objectives.
- Work under limited direction, receiving general instructions on new assignments.
- Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Determine the approach to solutions, plan the schedule, and arrange activities to accomplish objectives.
Skills & Work Experience:
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of project management tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of project processes and a general understanding of project management activities, such as planning, budgeting, and performance measurement.
- Experience in project controls and/or project management.
- Experience with project budgets, including cost estimating, control, and analysis.
- Proficiency in project scheduling and implementation of corrective actions.
- Ability to develop and deliver detailed and accurate status reports.
- Knowledge of engineering functions and principles required to implement and monitor technical projects.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tools and processes.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to resolve complex problems using creativity and in-depth analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recognized degree in an engineering or scientific discipline or specialized courses in project management.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of related work experience, with at least five (5) years in one of the following functions: engineering, procurement, and construction.
- Certification in project management or related field.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $98,450.00 per year
