CTG is seeking to fill an Application Architect – Cloud Data Modernization position for our client in Denver, CO.
Location : Denver, CO
Duration : 6 months
Duties :
Define and communicate the architectural vision for data platforms and AI / ML solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and governance.
Design scalable, high-performance data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data processing solutions.
Provide architectural guidance for AI / ML model development, deployment, and MLOps strategies.
Lead the design and implementation of robust data pipelines (ETL / ELT) to support data modernization initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to drive cloud-based data transformation.
Ensure best practices in agile methodologies, DevOps, CI / CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for improving data architecture and AI / ML capabilities.
Skills :
Expertise in cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud (GCP).
Strong knowledge of big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and Snowflake.
Experience with AI / ML platforms, including TensorFlow, MLflow, and Kubeflow.
Deep understanding of architectural patterns, including Lambda, Kappa, and event-driven architectures.
Proficiency in modern software development methodologies, DevOps, and CI / CD pipelines.
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively interact with technical and business teams.
Experience :
7 years of experience in software and data architecture, with a focus on data-intensive and AI / ML applications.
Proven track record of designing and implementing cloud-based data modernization solutions.
Education :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
