CTG is seeking to fill a Technical Product Owner opening for our client in Melbourne, FL.
Location : Melbourne, FL (hybrid remote)
Duration : 12 months
Responsibilities :
Design and refine the strategic vision for data-driven products, focusing on the reliability and scalability of the data platform.
Work closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand system functionality, nuances, and business requirements.
Oversee the creation and prioritization of product backlogs, ensuring that test plans and cases emphasize automation and align with product goals.
Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies within the data platform, ensuring timely resolutions and updates to stakeholders.
Lead initiatives to integrate product management processes into the CI / CD pipeline, improving delivery and operational efficiency.
Mentor team members on product management best practices, focusing on maximizing product value and adherence to data quality standards.
Ensure all product developments comply with data quality standards and meet client and regulatory requirements.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
5 years in product management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing data-centric products.
Strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, and familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and Agile methodologies.
Proficient in using data to make informed product decisions, identify areas for improvement, and ensure the product meets market needs.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex product scenarios.
Duties :
Assist in the development of automated systems for product validation to ensure ongoing data integrity and operational efficiency.
Execute product strategies and analyze results to ensure the data platform meets business specifications and customer needs.
Work with cross-functional teams to maintain high quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
Document product procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards, while also managing product documentation and communications.
Identify potential areas for process improvements within product management and suggest actionable solutions.
