Type: Contract Job Title: Multi-Disciplined Technician II (Lab Technician) Location: Bedford, MA Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Bedford, MA Pay Rate: $[Rate] Work Hours: Mon-Fri 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. OR 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (may be flexible) – weekends based on the needs of the business. Education: High School diploma or higher; 1-3 years’ experience in Sterile Processing, laboratory, or life sciences environment preferred. A successful candidate in this position will possess strong soft skills as well as: Ability to work effectively as a team player. Strong attention to detail and quality. Open to cross-training and becoming multi-skilled across various roles. Strong communication skills to follow direction and meet production requirements. Proactive and solution-oriented attitude. Description: The Multi-Disciplined Technician II will be responsible for performing various tasks in Sterile Processing and Reagents areas, including cleaning, sterilization, and basic production support. The candidate will work with industrial washers, dryers, autoclaves, and other lab equipment to prepare and sterilize vials for production. The role involves following strict safety and quality protocols while performing assigned tasks. Job Duties: Use industrial washers, dryers, autoclave, and dehydrogenation oven to sterilize labware. Prepare, wash, and sterilize vials for production use. Maintain inventory of labware and glass vials for production. Assist Reagents team with simple process steps, including labeling products and vialing when needed. Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements for the lab environment. Perform standard mixture of cleaning products as needed. Working Conditions: Clean room, general lab, and cold room environments (ranging from 2°C to -20°C) with specified PPE required for each area. Ability to lift and/or move material and objects weighing up to 50 pounds. May handle hazardous materials in a controlled environment. Standing for long periods with tasks that may include bending and repetitive motions. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience in sterile processing or a laboratory/life sciences environment. Willingness to work as a team player and learn new skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. Desired Skills: Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
