CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer opening for our top technical client in Orlando, FL.

Duration: 8 months contract role (could go longer
Compensation: 45.00-47.00/hr
Duties:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts.
- Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure proper testing methodologies are followed.
- Provide functional testing support and ensure product meets specifications and expectations.
- Continuously improve test strategies and processes to enhance overall software quality.
Skills:
- Strong automation experience with a solid development background.
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, .NET, or Python.
- Ability to spot issues early in the development cycle and suggest improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a functional QA or quality engineering role.
- Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern CI/CD tools is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
