Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Engineer to join our growing IT support team. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues while providing excellent customer service to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for clients, troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues related to hardware, software, networking, and cloud technologies.
- Act as the main point of contact for client escalations and resolve issues that have been escalated from Level 1 support.
- Perform system and network administration tasks such as server management, backups, and monitoring.
- Assist with infrastructure management, including virtual environments, firewalls, and routers.
- Document solutions, resolutions, and best practices in our ticketing system.
- Participate in the implementation of new technologies and assist with client onboarding.
- Collaborate with other team members to deliver seamless IT services and resolve complex issues.
- Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and a customer-focused attitude.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an IT support role, ideally within an MSP environment.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA Network , Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are a plus.
- Valid Drivers License
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with security tools (antivirus, firewall configurations, etc.).
- Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools.
- Knowledge of macOS and Linux systems.
