Job Summary:
As our Maintenance Technician, you'll maintain the heart and soul of our community, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.
Essential Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances)
- Respond to resident maintenance requests
- Contribute to apartment make-ready processes
- Conduct regular property inspections
- Manage work orders through property management app
- Participate in emergency maintenance on-call rotation
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of residential maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Smartphone proficiency for work order management
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (with assistance for heavier items)
- Experience with hand tools and power equipment
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, and drywall
Preferred Skills:
- Carpentry (baseboard, doors, trim work)
- Electrical installations and troubleshooting
- Plumbing installations and repairs
- Window and door installation
- Drywall finishing and painting
- Cabinet and countertop installation
- Flooring repairs
- Siding work
