Maintenance Technician – Multi-Property Specialist
Location: Columbus, OH (Multiple Sites)

We’re seeking a dependable, skilled Maintenance Technician to support multiple residential properties across Columbus. If you’re someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and thrives on solving maintenance challenges, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect buildings, units, and equipment to identify needed repairs
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine effective solutions
- Use building blueprints or equipment manuals as needed for repairs
- Perform general repairs across residential units, common areas, and grounds
- Maintain curb appeal, cleanliness, and functionality throughout all sites
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules to reduce service issues
- Complete apartment turnovers efficiently and thoroughly for new move-ins
- Collaborate with Property Managers to ensure timely ordering of repair materials
- Complete all assigned work orders promptly, updating residents and managers as needed
- Maintain professional and respectful communication with residents, vendors, and team members
- Utilize a digital tablet to manage work orders and documentation
- Travel between multiple sites as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong general knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and residential maintenance
- Proficient in using hand and power tools (must supply own hand tools)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Effective communication and time management skills
- Ability to follow direction from Property Managers and senior maintenance personnel
- Comfortable using electronic devices for task management
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in residential or multi-family maintenance
- Familiarity with property management operations
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand, walk, and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Capable of bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
