Property Manager
We are seeking a Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with LIHTC, Project-Based Section 8 and Fair Housing laws. We are looking for someone with a great personality and someone that is comfortable with marketing and outreach.
Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive, active, and collaborative relationship with staff, residents, vendors, and associated agencies;
- Adhere to timely completion of required reports to client, mgmt. company and applicable agencies;
- Ensure sufficient resident programs are available to the residents;
- Prepare and monitor operating and capital budgets;
- Ensure all routine, preventative and non-routine maintenance is prioritized and scheduled;
- Enforce and adhere to company policies, rules, safety practices and regulations;
- Understand and comply with Fair Housing laws and standards;
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a property manager.
- Affordable Housing experience - required
- Industry Certifications preferred but not required
- Must be organized, efficient, and have excellent follow-up and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the required software programs specific to property management.
- Must have the ability to supervisor employees, contractors and vendors.
