Property Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of property management, and the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, staff, and stakeholders. This role requires a proactive approach to property maintenance, tenant relations, and compliance with legal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, maintenance requests, and lease agreements.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws.
• Oversee property budgets and financial reporting, ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality service at competitive rates.
• Implement and maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking maintenance requests and schedules.
• Conduct regular property inspections to assess conditions and identify necessary repairs or improvements.
• Facilitate the leasing process by marketing available units, conducting showings, and processing applications.
• Address tenant concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
• Stay informed about industry trends, local real estate markets, and legal changes affecting property management.

Experience

• Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential.
• Strong knowledge of sales techniques and real estate administrative processes.
• Experience in legal administrative tasks related to property management is preferred.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with contractors and vendors while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple properties simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with tenants, staff, and external partners.
