About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Property Manager to lead a beautiful property in Erie. As the Property Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly from financials to resident satisfaction. What You’ll Do:
As the Property Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind property operations, overseeing key areas to ensure success:
- Financial Management:
Stay within the property’s budget, ensure timely rent collection, and handle all vendor communications and billing. You’ll also manage regular property expenses and necessary actions for delinquent rents, including evictions and utility cut-offs.
- Personnel Leadership:
Hire, train, and lead a motivated on-site team. From onboarding to annual reviews, you’ll ensure your team has the resources they need to succeed.
- Customer Service:
Build strong relationships with residents, address complaints, oversee move-ins and move-outs, and ensure the community atmosphere is positive and welcoming.
- Maintenance & Inspections:
Walk the property daily to inspect and monitor conditions. You’ll coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure that units are reconditioned efficiently and that all issues are addressed promptly.
- Leasing & Marketing:
Set and achieve leasing goals, conduct property tours, and stay aware of market trends to ensure the property remains competitive in the local market.
- Safety First:
Ensure that all safety protocols are adhered to, including reporting incidents and conducting monthly safety meetings with your maintenance staff.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in property management and leasing
- Strong customer service and conflict management skills
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law
- Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi and OneSite
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
- Administrative experience with data entry and filing systems
