Job Description :
Civil Engineering Co-op / Intern - responsible for supporting civil engineering projects under the supervision of a project manager. Works with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to solve problems in the design and construction of landfills, bridges, pipelines, and dams.
Responsibilities include :
- Field work such as : performing field tests and observations, developing daily field reports, attending progress meetings, demonstrating consistent / exemplary safety compliance, and alerting project personnel when problems or non-conforming test results are observed.
- Office work such as : performing engineering calculations, providing engineering support for field activity, writing technical reports, generating and editing engineering drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and assembling quality project deliverables.
