Job Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor at our BEANS facility will provide hands-on technical and professional leadership in establishing, refining and administration of equipment reliability and preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and building systems. The Maintenance Supervisor will assist with all maintenance activities to ensure maximum operational potential is realized for the entire plant operation. Assistance with the development, coordination and execution of maintenance related capital budget items in concert with engineering.

- Time & attendance, maintaining 24hr coverage and accountability
- Assign daily job duties passed down from maintenance manager.
- Daily equipment inspections, verify completed tech work was completed properly.
- Maintain a strong safety culture and maintenance reliability culture within the dept, training all tech on shift to be competent and skilled maintenance.
- Assist with PM scheduling, accurate and timely completion
- Ongoing teaching and utilization of Emaint for all technician; parts and labor charges on all work orders.
- Ability to make competent decisions in the absence of the maintenance manager
- Schedule by degree of urgency.
- Immediate Short Term (Less than one hour)
- Immediate Long Term (More than one hour)
- Delay Repair – Break, Lunch, End of Shift
- Delay Repair – Down Day
- Implementation of new programs including CI development, Kaizens, 5S, etc.
- Ensure technicians maintain a good GMP, SQF, BRC and Safety mindset.
- Maintain good housekeeping within the maintenance areas.
- Provide teachings for new technicians on trouble shooting skills (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics, Steam)
- Ensure outside contractors will follow all plant rules and regulations and sign a GMP form to make sure they understand.
- Notify FSQ of Completed Repairs for Sign off by FSQ
- Maintenance personnel to ensure outside contractors will follow all plant rules and regulations and sign a GMP form to make sure they understand.
- Maintenance parts inventory is maintained for critical parts are reorder as necessary and available for future use

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Technical/Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
1-5 years Maintenance experience in high volume production facility, preferably in food manufacturing.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Supervisor preferred.
Strong background in preventive maintenance and CMMS programs and activities.
Strong electrical / mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
Thorough knowledge of and experience working with highly automated PLC control systems.
Experience with ammonia refrigeration and PSM.
Experience with boiler systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission and fire protection systems.
Experience with automated packaging and palletizing systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with people in all departments and at all levels.
Must have a developed facilitative/coaching style of management and pursue non-directed activities in dealing with plant opportunities.
Must have good knowledge of computer operating systems, file management, email and basic programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Must be self-motivated and able to handle multiple assignments with minimum guidance.
