Job Overview
The Wastewater Technician III role will be responsible for maintaining wastewater treatment, boiler steam generation systems, hot water systems, air compressors.
This position will require to work out of both the CTI Foods - Soups Facility and the CTI Foods - Beans Facility.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all equipment in the wastewater system (Building utilities, pumps, tanks, DAF, order control) to ensure all water discharged to the city is within compliance to permit
- Maintain all (including daily checks) Boilers and boiler rooms (ensure all areas are clean and orderly)
- Maintain all (including daily checks) Hot Water System (ensure all areas are clean and orderly)
- Maintain all (including daily checks) Air Compressors (ensure all areas are clean and orderly)
- Complete Oil Silos daily checks and repairs as needed (repair any oil leaks, report steam leaks, drain water from oil silo pit as needed)
- Always maintain the Wastewater area clean
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Lift up to 80 pounds occasionally
- Stand and work outside for 10 hours
- Work around steam and hazardous chemicals
- Operate forklift, high-pressure hoses, daft, pumps, electric, and hydraulic hoses
- Read, write, and understand simple English
- Complete basic math problems
- Lock out Tag out training required
- Keep work area clean and free of clutter and debris
- Follow all food safety (GMP) and general safety guidelines
