JOB TITLE: Concrete Restoration Project Estimator

JOB SUMMARY: Perform estimates and preconstruction activities

REPORTS TO: President

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum 10 years of construction estimating experience with at least 5 years in concrete restoration industry

· Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· A strong work ethic and a high level of self-motivation.

· Successful background investigation.

· Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

Bid and Engineering review

• Review bid requirements, engineering drawings and other technical reports required to bid project
• Attend Pre bid meetings and site visits as needed
• Develop job estimates, perform site take offs, get vendor and subcontractor quotes as needed
• Work with construction managers and project managers to review labor estimates
• Work with suppliers to develop price lists and negotiate pricing
• Fill out all required bid forms and ensure bids are submitted on time and accurate
• Perform Job buy outs and vendor negotiations
• Perform preconstruction planning and procurement as needed
• Assist with Project management team as needed
• Review past estimates against job costs to compare and fine tune estimates
• Ensure all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, safety requirements etc., are adhered to.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Technical College degree
• Proficient in Microsoft office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe and Bluebeam

• Detail oriented and extremely organized
• Ability to succeed in a fast paced environment with high volume of information from multiple sources
• Ability and desire to understand Company’s business and customer needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of urgency; a good time-manager with an ability to self-prioritize and meet strict deadlines
• Ability and commitment to maintain confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
