Job Description

Position summary:

The ELSC Team Leader is responsible for the Enterprise Logistics Support Center and Tier II support to customers located throughout CNIC major command. Primary support will be for conducting research and implementation; programming, configuration and inventory control of assets as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Job duties include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Responsible for leadership, management and professional development of those individuals reporting to the ELSC Team Lead.
  • Responsible for successful relationship management with federal customers responding to current and future needs appropriately.
  • Responsible to assist in the successful ELMR, Food Service and WPCS program execution including the scheduling, quality, and technical performance as well as executing on time.
  • Monitors customer satisfaction and resolves any performance issues and customer concerns.
  • Responsible for strict adherence to CTI's policies, procedures, and coordinating use of material and human resources.
  • Understand common goals of programs assigned and manage holistically.
  • Responsible for collecting, analyzing and providing application data reports as directed.
  • Responsible for development and update of processes for responding to customer inquiries.
  • Responsible for successful upkeep of pertinent paperwork and records, to include workload data.
  • Reviews invoices, work orders, consumption reports, and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments.
  • Responsible for the physical condition of all equipment and parts from receipt to shipping to end user location.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting errors and prompt, appropriate action on customer complaints.
  • Responsible for the movement of freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers, by hand or using hand trucks, and other equipment.
  • Oversee the Tier II staff supporting CNIC’s Enterprise Land Mobile Radio (ELMR) and Wireless Piers Connection System (WPCS) programs
  • This position may require occasional travel.
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential to the successful performance of this position.
  • Monitor Data and ticketing sources to fully understand workload.
  • May be required to participate in the emergency continued operations (COOP) plan.
  • Attendance and punctuality are critical to this role.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to present sensitive data in a succinct manner.
  • Must have experience in managing multiple or simultaneous projects.  
  • Must have excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills with a technical background in Electronics, Information Technology, or Communications etc.
  • Must be able to perform duties independently and be a self-starter with intuitive skills to analyze data and draw valid conclusions from multiple information sources.
  • Must have excellent Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and Outlook. 
  • Must have customer service background with a professional and responsive attitude at all times.
  • Ideal candidate will have successfully led a technical Tier II/III team of at least 6 personnel.
  • Education: BS/AS focusing on technical or IT studies preferred. Certifications with desired experience considered equivalent. Industry recognized technical certifications a plus. Eg. CCNA, FCC license, A , etc.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of corporate leadership experience. Military background a plus.

Transportation:  This position requires driving government owned, CTI owned, personal owned, or rental/leased vehicles.  Employee must maintain driving eligibility throughout employment in accordance with state and local laws and the established CTI Vehicle Safety Policy.

Security Clearance:  A favorable NACI background investigation required.  No access to classified material granted.  Employee must maintain eligibility throughout employment. Active Security Clearance Preferred.
