The Entry-Level Building Construction Safety Services Specialist assists in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting site inspections, and promoting a culture of safety on construction sites. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in monitoring and enforcing site safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and company regulations.
Conduct routine site safety inspections to identify hazards and report findings to the Safety Manager.
Support the development and delivery of toolbox talks, safety meetings, and basic training for workers.
Help document and investigate incidents, near misses, and safety violations, contributing to corrective action plans.
Ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) is properly used, maintained, and available for workers.
Assist in maintaining safety documentation, including permits, reports, and compliance records.
Participate in pre-construction safety planning and site safety orientations for new workers.
Collaborate with site supervisors and construction teams to address safety concerns proactively.
Stay updated on industry safety regulations and best practices.
Support emergency response procedures and assist in first aid coordination as needed.
