Aerospace Repair Project Engineer
CTL Aerospace, Inc is a Veteran founded, family-owned composites company serving aerospace, military and industrial customers for over 74 years. CTL's Maintenance Repair & Overhaul division is focused on the repair and overhaul of commercial aircraft engine components, specializing in fan case repairs, and is always on standby for worldwide on-wing repairs.
We are seeking talented professionals to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment as a Repair Project Engineer at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and / or northern Kentucky). This position offers an excellent opportunity for an Aerospace Repair Project Engineer to work in an empowered setting with a broad scope of authority.
Job Description
As an Aerospace Repair Project Engineer, you will manage all aspects of a high-profile program. Reporting to the Engineering Manager in Repair and Overhaul, the successful candidate will have the following experiences and abilities :
- Function as the primary point of contact for the customer and internally, hosting meetings for scheduling, status updates, material, and technical needs.
- Create workflow schedule / project milestones across multiple shifts to keep project on schedule.
- Create shop visit reports.
- Assist in costing of non-typical Repairs.
- Coordinate new process development.
- Track, maintain and forecast inventory and usage of parts and materials.
- Coordinate material, manpower and equipment needs with Production, Quality, Engineering and Purchasing.
- Develop and improve repair / manufacturing processes and tooling improvements for aircraft components.
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
- Communicate with customers to resolve engineering issues related to repair processes, drawings, and specifications.
- Actively identify and manage risk for the project.

This position requires you to undergo a DOT / FAA pre-employment drug test for the following prohibited drugs (as defined in 49 CFR § 40.3) prior to being hired or transferred into a Department of Transportation (DOT) safety-sensitive position as defined in 14 CFR part 120[1] :
