Job Description
CTL Aerospace is a full service NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company providing services to the major aerospace and governmental organizations since 1946. CTL specializes in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures.
We are seeking a talented Quality Control Inspector to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and / or northern Kentucky).
Essential Job Functions
Meets or exceeds all criteria for Quality Control Inspector I
- Perform dimensional / visual inspections on components and final assemblies using monitoring and measuring equipment (M&ME) according to production schedule
- Must comply with internal quality system, business policies, and regulatory requirements and
- supports business goals and objectives
- Work with others in a teamwork atmosphere
- Maintains work-station cleanliness on daily basis
- Experienced reading and understand blueprints, travelers / routers, and work instructions
- Can utilize basic shop math skills to aid with tolerancing and obtaining measurements of product
- Basic knowledge of GD&T tolerancing
- Basic understanding of utilizing an ERP system
- Experience with generating inspection reports and FAI reports
- Ability to Multi-task
- Basic Understanding in issuing Nonconforming Reports
- Capable of working with minimal supervision to support manufacturing needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
