Job Description
CTL Aerospace is a full-service FAA/EASA/CAAC Repair Station providing services to the aerospace industry since 1946. The CTL Repair Division specializes in the overhaul and repair of aircraft metal and composite components.
We are seeking talented professionals to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment as a Stockroom Clerk at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).
Job Requirements
- Pick, kit, and issue materials according to pick tickets
- Maintain first-in, first-out and be attentive to expiration dates.
- Organize and maintain an orderly stockroom.
- Issue materials to jobs in the MRP system
- Inventory cycle counting
- Execute specified shelf-life requirements. E
- Ensure the preservation and storage of all materials, parts, and supplies.
- Perform the duties as described by the stockroom supervisor.
- Control and distribute the inventory according to jobs.
- Perform inventory transactions in MRP system.
- Ability to lift and carry parts boxes up to 50 LBS.
- Prolonged standing, bending, squatting, sitting, pushing, pulling, reaching below knees, and reaching and lifting above shoulders.
Additional Duties – Assist Shipping & Receiving
- Packaging parts for shipment to customers and to outside vendors using accepted area packaging methods. (Foam in place, bubble wrap, etc....)
- Must be very accurate with attention to detail.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments (verifying items against packing slips)
- Ability to multitask.
- Positive attitude
- Effectively able to work as a part of the shipping team.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean driving record.
- Perform daily part pickup/drop-offs.
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Ability to read and understand standard and metric units of measures
- Microsoft Excel – Basic
- Attention to detail
- Basic understanding and use of Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding and comfort with inventory software.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
This position requires you to undergo a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug test for the following prohibited drugs (as defined in 49 CFR § 40.3) prior to being hired or transferred into a Department of Transportation (DOT) safety-sensitive position as defined in 14 CFR part 120[1]:
- Marijuana,
- Cocaine,
- Opioids,
- Phencyclidine (PCP), and
- Amphetamines.
