Duties
- Provide direct support to patients, assisting them with daily living activities and personal care.
- Monitor patient behavior and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed professionals.
- Engage patients in therapeutic activities and promote positive coping strategies.
- Support chronic pain counseling initiatives by understanding patient needs and providing empathetic care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all patients, adhering to established safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in a mental health setting, particularly with geriatric populations or inpatient care, is preferred.
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and chronic pain management is advantageous.
