You’ll support leasing efforts, resident relations, rent collections, and vendor coordination, while ensuring a high standard of service and community satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in rent collection, delinquency management, and financial reporting
- Support leasing, renewals, and resident retention initiatives
- Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor scheduling
- Ensure vendor invoices are accounted for and purchase orders are fulfilled
- Maintain compliance with company policies and fair housing laws
- Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents
Qualifications:
- 5 years of multifamily property management or leasing experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in property management software (specifically, Yardi and On-Site)
- Expertise in California landlord/tenant and fair housing laws.
- Knowledge of, and demonstrated skills in, de-escalation during emotionally charged interactions with residents.
- High level of professionalism and accountability
Required license or certification:
- Valid California driver's license and a good driving record required.
- Must be computer literate with knowledge of various software applications including Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi Voyager and Rent Cafe'.
The position requires good customer service, communication and organizational skills, positive and professional demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Interacting with tenants on a daily basis. Maintaining the overall well being of the property. Advertising and renting vacant units. Managing maintenance and procurement
*The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM.
