JOB DESCRIPTION : (Briefly summarize the overall purpose of the position. Objectives should be written in 3 - 4 statements). Synthetic Molecule Process Development (SMPD) is responsible for the development of robust, sustainable and cost-effective processes for the manufacture of new synthetic molecule pharmaceuticals, along with methods for achieving and controlling high standards of purity and quality.

The successful candidate will :

• Develop process models (mechanistic, AI / ML, or hybrid) of reactions, crystallization, solubility,....to accelerate process design, optimization and characterization, that will be deployable across the global organization.
• Develop digital twins of unit operations by integrating the process / transport models with input variables.
• Design and apply visualization tools, data analytics, or user interfaces to democratize the model predictions, enhance process understanding, and enable data driven decision making.
• Works on technology projects and platform developments end to end : from project planning to implementation.
• Identifies opportunities to accelerate process development activities and executes on them by utilizing modeling and simulation techniques.
