We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, work in process, and finished products, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, work in process, and finished products
- Inspect component parts as well as complex assemblies
- Document and contain non-conforming products
- Perform final inspections, including finish checks for powder coating, paint, plating, etc.
- Assist with or perform internal quality audits
- Create and maintain inspection reports, including First Article and PPAP documentation
- Collaborate closely with machine operators, fabricators, and management
- Report directly to the Quality Director
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience, 3 years preferred
- Proficient with manual and computerized inspection tools (height gauges, calipers, squares, tape measures, CMM)
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, including weld symbols, work instructions, and dimensional tolerances
- Strong math skills (fractions, decimals, basic arithmetic, geometry)
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to learn new programs
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication quality control strongly preferred
- Fabrication experience helpful
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, in hot or cold conditions, and follow all safety rules
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
