RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
- MiJack crane experience is a plus but will train candidates with overhead crane or heavy equipment operation experience are encouraged to apply.
- Determine load weights and check them against lifting capacities to prevent overload.
- Operate travel lift cranes, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment for the loading moving and unloading of materials.
- Handling and moving large extremely heavy objects.
- Inspect cables or grappling devices for wear and install or replace cables, as needed.
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain mechanisms such as cables, pulleys, or grappling devices, making repairs as necessary.
- Inspect and adjust crane mechanisms or lifting accessories to prevent malfunctions or damage.
- Review daily work or delivery schedules to determine orders, sequences of deliveries, or special loading instructions.
- Signal directions or warnings to coworkers.
- Monitor materials, or surroundings.
- Read work order or instructions in English Language.
- Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates in English Language.
