The Budget Analyst Lead shall be skilled in the areas of budgeting, finance, and business operations, demonstrating expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and resource allocation. The Budget Analyst Lead will be responsible for enforcing work standards across the Budget & Business Operations Team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Additionally, this role will involve developing and implementing best practices, mentoring team members to enhance their financial acumen, and collaborating with senior leadership to support strategic financial planning and decision-making. The Budget Analyst Lead will also be tasked with identifying opportunities for process improvements, optimizing budget workflows, and providing detailed financial reports and insights to drive operational excellence. 

Requirements

The Budget Analyst Lead will have at minimum: 


· Five (5) years of experience managing programs/projects similar to the areas identified for this role, real property management in the federal government. 

· Seven (7) years of supervisory experience. 

· Experience in assisting government agencies in the subject area of audit 

· Versed in computer programs such as RPMS, which are used to track real property.

· Familiarity with budget and finance function related to real property management in the federal government. 

· Expertise in business process improvement related to infrastructure and construction within the federal government. 


Education/Certification

· Possess a Bachelor degree from an accredited university in the field of either civil engineering, architecture, or business or a MBA (Master of Business Administration). 

· Possess a current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or Architectural Registration (license).
